Robert Napoletano, MD

Dr. Napoletano is a partner at Grove Hill Medical Center, in New Britain, Connecticut. He received his BA in Zoology at the University of Vermont, and continued his education at Boston University to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his internship and residency at New Britain General Hospital in New Britain, Connecticut, as part of the University of Connecticut Surgical Residency Program. Dr. Napoletano is a full time senior attending at New Britain General Hospital and a clinical instructor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Connecticut Medical School. His expertise and sound reputation as a surgeon has earned him a well-respected name in his field. Recently, Dr. Napoletano was honored with the title of one of ‘America’s Top Surgeons’ by the Consumer Research Council of America. With greater than 20 years of experience in vascular surgery and wound care, he is sensitive to the functional and cosmetic concerns that arise in the face of venous insufficiency.

Jaime Kriner, PA-C

Jaime received her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, PA, where she continued her education to gain a master’s degree as a PA. She is a full-time physician assistant at New Britain General Hospital in general and vascular surgery, as well as orthopedics and neurosurgery. In 2006, she also began working at The Vein Center at Grove Hill on a part time basis. Jaime’s position includes evaluation and management of patients with venous insufficiency under the supervision of Dr. Napoletano. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a fellow member of the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Patricia Burns 

Patti is a certified surgical technologist working with Dr. Napoletano in The Vein Center at Grove Hill. She graduated from Manchester Community College with an associate degree in science. She has worked full time at New Britain General Hospital in the operating room for greater than twenty five years.

Patti brings invaluable experience as she assists Dr. Napoletano during procedures at the vein center.
